Molten Spiced Chocolate Wine Cakes
Ingredients:
- 4 ounces semi-sweet baking chocolate
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
- 1 Tablesppon red wine
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 egg yolk
- 6 Tablespoons flour
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 425. Butter 4 (6 ounce) souffle dishes.
- Microwave chocolate and butter until butter is melted. Stir until chocoalte is melted and smooth.
- Stir in wine, vanilla, and sugar until blended. Whisk in eggs and yolk. Add remaining ingredients. Pour batter evenly into souffle dishes.
- Bake 13-15 minutes or until sides are firm but centers are soft. Let stand 1 minute. Carefully loosen edges with a knife and invert onto a plate.
- Serve immediately with a red wine such as Tempranillo.
